WELCOME TO CITY OF COCKBURN PIPE BAND
Established by June Corcoran in 1997 the band has been involved in numerous community events and assists in encouraging others to learn the pipes or drums. The band is made up of a mixture of members, from youngsters who have just started learning to more mature players who still enjoy a few tunes together.
The band plays at a variety of social events during the year and welcomes the introduction of new members.

The band acknowledges the City of Cockburn Council and Grants Committee for their on-going support and generous grant money used to buy and upkeep our uniform and equipment as well as practice facilities at the Cockburn Council buildings.
Travel & Competition
The Band Experience
Learn the art of an ancient instrument and discover Scottish tradition at it's best.
Learn and play the most difficult and technical drumming on the planet. This instrument can also be the most rewarding percussion experience with three different drum types to choose from.
The band offers opportunities to travel the world to experience some of the largest parades on the planet. For example the New York St Patricks Day parade and the World Pipe Band Championships in Scotland.
The weekly band practice is Tuesday night from 6.30pm at the Cockburn Council, 9 Coleville Cres, Spearwood.
An additional band practice for competitions is held 7:30pm Wednesday night at Mercedes College, Goodrich Street East Perth.
